Modular & Industrial Design

At MSK Architects, we bring architectural thinking into the realm of modular systems and industrial products.

MSK Architects designed the multi-storey mixed-use industrial development next to Hills Storage, Rouse Hill.

Many of our projects in this field were developed through international and national design competitions, where our proposals have been consistently successful, recognised for their innovation, clarity, and practicality.

Our portfolio includes demountable and transportable structures, furniture, and fittings that combine functionality with refined design. A notable example is the Chainbridge Café on the banks of the Danube in Budapest — a fully demountable restaurant that has been in continuous operation for more than 15 years. The café is designed to be dismantled and reassembled multiple times each year to adapt to the seasonal flooding of the river, demonstrating the resilience and adaptability of our modular solutions.

Beyond hospitality, our competition-winning concepts include kiosks, pavilions, and urban furniture systems, designed to be flexible, compact, and sustainable. These works showcase our ability to merge industrial production techniques with architectural creativity, delivering designs that are both robust and adaptable to changing needs.

At the intersection of architecture and product design, our modular and industrial projects embody MSK Architects’ ethos: design solutions that endure, inspire, and perform across diverse contexts.
